The Banners and the original Operation Signal Boost thread all make it clear that this is an Awareness Campaign. That is, we're trying to boost awareness (and sales) of the Collector's Edition, as well as promote CSTS (which we did), The Uni HD Channel's Firefly Programming, and the Firefly Marathon on Sci/Fi Channel.
We want to increase the Fandom, out of Love for the 'verse and to increase our numbers. The fandom must grow or gradually die. That's our viewpoint.
Thanks for asking _________________ Being made of stars, I often find myself looking upward... toward home. |

Folks, time is getting short....
The Uni HD showing of the episode Serenity parts 1&2 is less than 5 days away.
Sci/Fi's Firefly Marathon is in 16 days,
and The release of the BigDamnCollector'sEdition is 28 days away.
Let's get the word out, especially to the uninitiated!
Thanx for your help! _________________ Being made of stars, I often find myself looking upward... toward home. |

How about, "Gorilla Marketing." If a Gorilla told you to buy Firefly and Serenity, and the Special Edition, you probably would! |

Well, ya know, there's always this! (The first few seconds may seem irrelevant, but persevere). _________________

Here was an idea I had. I just hope Maiii and Swanny will want to pull it off.
Hey Maiii,
I had me a notion. Any chance our BDH astronaut Swanny would want to help promote Serenity and Firefly by sending the photo of himself with the DVDs in space to Entertainment Weekly's "Obsessive Fan of the Week" segment in their magazine?
This...
Would sure look shiny with a cool blurb about the space program, breakingatmo.com, and the BDM-CE about to hit shelves in a world wide publication like Entertainment Weekly don't yha think?!
Contact them at: ew_letter@ew.com
Or snail mail to: Entertainment Weekly - 1675 Broadway, New Your, NY 10019
What can I say, I'm just a Browncoat thinking of as many ways as I can to get the word out. How many "obsessive" fans can claim they took their pride and joy into the black? Only a BigDamnHero! Only a Browncoat! How could that not make the magazine?
If you want to see what I'm talking about just pick up an EW and check out page 4 (usually) just below their feedback section.
PS. I love the video on the site! _________________ We gotta go to the crappy town where I'm a hero!
