Must be the time for major site updates… We have posted a major update to our fan documentary web site DoneTheImpossible.com. The teaser trailer is also available now, if you were at Comic-Con you should see if you made it into the trailer…

We are taking pre-orders for the DVD via PayPal. And, if you pre-order before September 15, you’ll get 3 bonus DVDs filled with hours of Firefly panel footage featuring the entire cast of Firefly. Including complete panel coverage of LA Con 2003 (audio), Dragon*Con 2004, Comic-Con 2004, Wonder Con 2005 & Wizard World 2005.

heh cool I'll have to check it out when I get home.

Very Happy

Maybe offer the bonus CDs as the extended special edition version? Offer a couple of trailers from those as well.

I was wondering since the extra thingy's are no longer being offered for free, I am loath to buy if they will be offered in the near future in the "Special Edition" I have been burnt by this a number of times but would really like the extra footage. Will there be a choice of 2 DVD's so that one is more expensive and has the footage, I don't mind paying extra Question

I can guarantee we will NOT be offering those discs in a future bundle. Too many legal concerns. I'm pretty sure they, or something very similar, will be available from another source at some of the upcoming cons, specifically Comic-Con.

And how about those of us who pre-ordered the DVD a while ago, when these extra discs were offered with pre-orders?

Sorry to bump this ole thread but guess what? After coming home from a hard day's work, I found my copy of Done the impossible comfortably lying in my mailbox!! It took its time to get there ( I'm in France) but it's there and I'm freakin' happy about it *me does the dance of joy*

Well enough with the crappy comment : THANKS a lot (and I mean a lot!!!) for that guys (especially jeremy since this is his board and he'll probably read this piece)...

Now, I'm going to sit in front of my telly and feed my dvd player some fan-made documentary about a revived tv show turned movie that's supposed to be freakin' awesome... Very Happy

Let the magic begin...

P.S : more from me complimenting you after I watched it :p

This is a doc about how fans with diverse lifestyles and ideologies banded together to do "the impossible".

A great primer for what can be done if you won't take "no" for an answer.

Just got through watching my recently received copy.

Very nice, professional lookin' DVD with nice navigation menu.

There are certainly some 'goose bump' moments in there.

Great insight/observations from Joss, cast and fans.

Really enjoyed it! Cool

Just got our "Done the Impossible" DVD. I think I spent half the doco with tears running down my face, for one reason or another.

Awesome DVD, I have to say - though the way the menu jumps about all by itself is a bit disconcerting. And I think we'll have to play the Trivia game through one of our computers 'cause it kept freezing on our DVD player.

Aside from the technical hitches with the menu system, though, I have to say I'm quite impressed with it. Very Happy

I was privileged to see the DTI DVD at a Utah Browncoat Shindig, where Brian Wiser showed us the easter eggs. It's an excellent body of work. The timeline alone is worth the purchase of the DVD, but it is loaded with some very funny and insightful materials.

I heard the "Browncoats: Redemption" interview from D*Con, and would like to send praise to Brain Wiser for joining the team and serving as their director. That promises to make it a first rate effort, if DTI is any indicator of his skills and knowledge.

Jeremy, are you involved with that project at all?

We tried to make arrangements for them to use my Red One camera, but it ended up being too booked. So nope.
