I see the problem. The URL is incorrect. It should be:
http://libsyn.com/media/thesignal/signal_013_20051005.mp3
What's with the "I'm gonna post a more prominent note in case they don't see the responses here" thing? This is just about the most prominent place I can think of if you want me to read it.
In any case, I will fix the web page and feed asap (tomorrow).

Yeah I posted a thread about the URL already. What I meant by "more prominent" was that you might notice more quickly a new thread that said 'hey we need something fixed'. Because if people just replied to this one there'd be nothing on the main page to alert you that something was wrong, you might just think those were replies about how great the new show is. Which it is, as usual.  |

Ah. No, I have an alert on this thread. I didn't have an alert on the other one. So creating another thread didn't alert me, but posting to this one did.
Alas, I can't fix either the feed or the website until tomorrow because today I'm going to the England premiere of Serenity. Joss, Nathan and Summer will be there, so it's kinda not something I want to miss. And I'm the only crew member who can fix it because its my website. So it will have to wait. But hopefully anyone who's interested enough to have joined this forum will find this thread and be sorted. Everyone else will get it tomorrow.
Now I'm hoping that the rest of the posts on this thread will be about the show's content, rather than technical problems....

Just listened to the part with Les talking about Book's first name, and how it was gotten wrong on several websites.
All I've got to say is that IMDB has been proven to be notoriously wrong when it comes to cast and crew information.
A bunch of us who are DVD fiends have noticed that the cast and crew on IMDB don't even match the actual credits of the film. Sometimes they list people who are not even in the film.
IMDB is a nice place to get some general information, but don't trust the cast/crew data.

You ain't kidding. I had an embarasing moment when recording the interview with Adam Baldwin because IMDB listed him as being in "Into the West".
IMDB on the surface seems open and community driven, but it is really very closed and they make it really difficult to update info. I'm just waiting for a wiki-esque/open IMDB replacement to rise up and swallow them whole.

| I think we're getting off-topic here, but I had always thought that the problem with imdb was that it was TOO open/community based, i.e. anyone can just send in whatever random thing that they think they remember about who was in or helped to make a movie, and imdb just posts it as fact. |

Anyone else having trouble connecting to libsyn.com? I've been trying since about 8:20 AM EST without any luck to download the .mp3 directly (using the links in this thread). I can't load up the libysn.com home page either. I guess either their site is down or there's something blocking me from getting to them. Anyone else having problems?

It's been my experience that box office totals are only compiled and reported on Sundays. I expect they'll post updates or corrections during the week if they have them. Otherwise, we'll have to wait 'til next weekend to hear how it did then, and hopefully get an idea how much it made during the week as well.
And Dravis, I have the same problem at my work. I guess I'll have to wait 'til I get home. Bummer! |

Thanks guys, thought I was just displaying my tendancy to be totally rubbish with anything technical but your post put me right and I'm now downloading episode 13...horay!
Wow, seeing the movie with the cast....am I jealous! I'm waiting to see it at my local cinema on Friday and I think I'm going slowly insane with the waiting!!! This is what going crazy feels like.

I'm sure someone will correct me here, but I thought we needed the $80m from worldwide box office, not just the US take (like it says on the main page). |
