I just found an easter egg on the Region 1 Serenity DVD. On the main menu keep pressing right, and it will highlight the tab thingy. Press enter to watch a featurette on the Fruit Oaty commercial, by Joss Whedon. Now I have that song stuck in my head, lol

Also i took screenshots of the computer screen from the deleted scene, where The Operative is looking up Mal.
The text is small but still readable. Kind of interesting; he and Zoe were the only 2 that survived Serenity Valley

Well alrighty then, you seem to be tech-savvy, what with the making screen caps and everything. Do YOU know how to capture audio elements from the DVD and turn them into either wav or mp3? Specifically the guitar solo version of "Ballad of Serenity" that plays at the end of the closing credits...

you can use http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html and it will let you do all that. there is a free trial so you should be able to just extract that part without any problems.

Just a question... how can there have been a 68% casualty rate if there were only two survivors???

Unless of course I'm a complete techno idiot... which apparently I am. Thanks for the thought though...

68% of the overall battle force was lost, but the loss was higher in Mal and Zoe's specific unit. `S how I see it, anyway.

We know that more than 2 people survived the valley though...
The fact that some guys died later like when mal and zoe shot him, wouldnt be in their profiles...

Didnt they say in the pilot that 100 of 400 survivors (of the actual battle) were still alive to be taken off the planet by the ships...
