Episode 3 will be out tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a bonus show. Very Happy

Cool. I just downloaded it now, is there any reason why it's named 202.5 rather than 002.5?

EDIT: Oh I just realised! It's for Season 2 episode 2.5! Nevermind Razz

It's just a filename. It doesn't mean what you think. Laughing

The "name" of the episode is embedded within the MP3 ID3 tags, and will show up in any MP3 player as "The Signal, Season 2 #2.5, 28th February 2006". The podcast download information is embedded in the XML feed. The filename is therefore arbitrary. We haven't been entirely consistent in the past, and there is no reason you should expect us to be consistent in the future. That's why we have links to click on.

Cool

Just wondered if there will be a downloadable version of the song played on the 2.5 podcast.

If you're refering to the 'Ballad of Serenity' from the movie I believe Jill just extracted that from the DVD.

I just have to say thats one of my favourite pieces of music from the verse. Its so simple..witha guitar and another guitar that joins in the end. It really moves me. And it gets me the way the last note(or few notes) aren't played. Someone posted on a thread, that the missing last notes represents for him/her how Firefly wasn't finished. And I thought that was quite sweet. I have it downloaded, and I could listen to that song over and over. Call me a sentimental sap, but I get this tingly feeling when i hear it, and more so than hearing the tv show version. It feels like a tune played by the campfire or something rustic like that.

Just noticed that the previous link in the show notes for this episode leads back to the same page and not to the notes for episode 2.

True enough, and thanks for pointing it out, as I might have missed that. But to be fair, it does say "UNDER CONSTRUCTION", so I think we're covered. Smile I plan to write the show notes for both 2.5 and 3 tomorrow.
