yay! its brilliant.
Listening to it right now. So wish i could go to Serenity 3. No money
A thought for the winter special: A Panto
Its a big british tradition to have a panto, either a Firefly take on a classic like Jack and the Bean Stalk/ Peter Pan/ Cinderella or a parady of Firefly/Serenity in 5 mins. |

| During the Serenity Speculation: Music section, they played a clip of Folk rendition of Led Zepplin's Kashmir. Does anyone know who did that version and where I can get it? I don't see anything about it in the show notes. |

The band is E Muzeki, off their album "Sindh."
The song is called "Kashmir Medley."
They are a band I saw at my local renaissance festival.
Here is the link to their Web site where you can purchase the CD.

You may also be able to find them at a renaissance festival or two, depending on where you live.

The question about the airdates for the 'unaired' episodes jogged something at the back of my brain. Originally I was going to look for the Serenity airdate on SciFi UK and then count forward since they aired the episodes in the correct order...then I realised I was too lazy to do that A short Google adventure brought me to an old newspost on Fireflyfans.net:
http://www.fireflyfans.net/news.asp?newsid=399
which points to a page on the BBC site listing the airdates from Jaynestown onward:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/cult/2003/06/18/5161.shtml
The pertinent info (referring to dates in 2003):
Monday 21st July at 9pm Ep 12 - Trash (World TV Premiere)
Monday 28th July at 9pm Ep 13 - The Message (World TV Premiere)
Monday 4th Aug at 9pm Ep 14 - Heart Of Gold (World TV Premiere)
I don't think there's any reason to doubt these dates - once Firefly began it's first UK run I'm almost certain the episodes ran week-to-week without interruption.
Hope that helps,
Stu. |

That was pretty slick, wasn't it?
You know, these days I don't buy much in the way of new music. There's something about Firefly/Serenity, though, that has me buying new CDs.
Thus far, I've bought the Firefly and Serenity soundtracks, On the Drift by the Bedlam Bards, and the Done the Impossible soundtrack. Escape Key's Shadowbeast (Michelle Dockrey has a wonderful voice!) and now Sindh are on my list of things to buy.
Who says Serenity is dead? _________________ Trampas Whiteman

I gotta bring up the Done The Impossible soundtrack. I just got my hands on a copy at D*Con and its got some great stuff. Some tracks from the Bedlam Bards, Emerald Rose & more. I hadn't really listened to Emerald Rose before (I'd heard of them, but not taken the time to check out their stuff), but now I think I'm going to have to go and track down some more of their CD's. They're also relatively local to where I live, so I may have to track down a show.

Hi,
What is the address and attention info for us to write letters to? Didn't see them in the show notes.
Thank you |
