Host Grant Barrett credited the series: Buffy with the first use of the phrase, "Not so much."
I, of course, remember it best from the flashback to the acquisition of Serenity in "Out of Gas" where Captain Reynolds admits to Zoe that the ship is not flyable now.

I love finding phrases that are both in Buffy and in Firefly...
"shiny" was in Buffy....
"I want to die surrounded by fat grandchildren" (Buffy) and "I wish you hundreds of fat children." (Firefly)
Riley: "Buffy, where is the bad, here? It just turns out that we're even more well-matched than we thought we were. I mean, you're a... fry cook. And so am I."
Buffy: "Yes, but you're an amateur... fry cook, and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25." (Buffy)
Hey, I've been in a firefight before....Well, I've been in a fire...Actually, I was fired. From a fry-cook opportunity. (Firefly)

Hi Jeff, welcome to the forums.
Not trying to curb your enthusiasm or anything, but the topic of this thread seems to have nothing whatsoever to do with the Signal, and therefore is in the wrong forum.
