In regards to the news section of Ep. 8, Michael Ausiello of TVGuide.com is reporting that Drive has already been cancelled, but the last two unaired episodes MAY get burned off on Fridays in May.

Loved the episode this time around. However, I didn't really care for the Rocky Horror casting session. Honestly, that could've been cut and it would not have been missed.

By the way, what gives with all the crew changes lately, the departures I mean? Did they leave to do their own thing? Behind the scenes stuff we don't need to know about?

I think it went online sometime around 19:00 Wednesday GMT, which is five hours in advance of our official publication time of 00:00 Thursday GMT. It's hard to be "on the dot", and I'd rather be early than late. For the record, we try always to be online before 00:00 Thursday GMT, but sometimes we don't make it. We don't consider the show "late", however, until after 23:59 Thursday GMT (though folk East of the Grenwich meridian may have a different experience)

All? There were only two departures to have happened "lately" (two or three months ago). Doug and Trampas have moved on to other things. (Trampas is on Sci-Fi Smackdown now). Before that, there had been no departures since mid-2006.

I think you pretty much have to expect occasional crew changes in a large venture such as this. None of us get paid, it's hard work, and a gruelling schedule getting a show of this complexity out every two weeks, and real life often intervenes. That's just how it is.

I loved the Rocky Horror segment. Although I would have cast the Operative as Frank N Furter, I otherwise agreed with all of Les's choices. And River as Riff - man, that was inspired!

I much enjoyed the Deja Vu segment. That was a great movie. Smile

I wasn't complaining. It actually worked out great for me, I got to listen yesterday when today it would end up being impossible.

Thanks, I was just curious.

Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Given that I'm not a Rocky Horror fan, that probably played the main role in my lack of interest in the segment.

We Browncoats are a diverse group with diverse interests. When choosing segments for The Signal we try and have a diverse selection of segments to accommodate those interests. I would be shocked if every bit we do appeals to all listeners. I expect that all listeners will sometimes run across a segment that doesn't appeal to them.

We love to get all kinds of feedback, good and bad. When anything we do doesn't appeal to a large portion of audience, we certainly want to know.

See, see! I told you they'd get it Smile

Thanks for that, it was a bit of an experiment, but very pleased how it came out. Never seen the remake. In no hurry to. It just suddenly suggested itself to me, I'd not been watching it or anything.
Stay shiny
