I just finished listening to Episode 15. As always, another 1:13:59 well spent. Thanks for the entertainment.
On a side note, Les (during the interview with the folks at QMX) made a mention that his favorite was Great Big Sea. I'm another Browncoat that discovered this Canadian group awhile ago. Great minds think alike. _________________ Malvious

| Just wanted to say I enjoyed this episode. Really like the Academy speculation piece. |

I just heard episode 15 which is my first of The Signal and want to say it was really enjoyable. Very well done, clear and of course the topics refer to Firefly and Serenity which I love.
Anyhow, there was a section towards the end of the show concerning Windows 2000 on the trash container in the "Trash" episode. The site where I found this image said something about Windows 98. Either way I think it was just a joke on MS and here's the pic...

From that picture, I can't tell if its NT, 98 or some other flavor of windows, but that sure looks like the "new hardware detected" wizard. _________________ Tech Geek & Host of for Signal Serenity & Firefly podcast

I can understand the trash company using Windows. (It will be well out of copyright by 2518. They were probably trying to save money). What I don't understand is why the trash collector was trying to install new hardware. Did Jayne's reprogramming confuse it? _________________

That's easy. They had just pulled out a controller board and reprogrammed it. Of course the system would detect a hardware change. _________________ Tech Geek & Host of for Signal Serenity & Firefly podcast
