Thanks for reading my e-mail. Would it be possible to put my website's URL in your show notes for Season 3, episode 17 next to my name?
http://firefly.girven.org
That way, if anyone is interested in using my script searching tool, or playing the Trivia Game, they will know where to go.
Also, congratulations on your Parsec award! You definitely deserve it!
By the way, our family took first place in the Firefly/Serenity Costume Contest at DragonCon07. It was SO MUCH FUN! I was absolutely thrilled to see so many Firefly/Serenity costumes, Jayne hats, and T-shirts everywhere I looked. Our Browncoat presence was recognized by the uninitiated. More than once we were stopped and asked what our costumes were from and we had the pleasure of telling them about Firefly and Serenity, and hopefully planting seeds for new Browncoats. I'm sure others were doing the same thing! And to hear that there were more Browncoats at DragonCon this year than last year is further evidence that you and everyone else who is dedicated to spreading the word are succeeding in keeping our beloved 'verse alive and thriving!
Many thanks, and Keep Flying!

Congratulations! We're going to try really hard next year to avoid having the Live Signal opposite the Costume Contest or any other major Browncoat event.

I noticed that as well - as did several of my friends. It is very inspiring to see the continued growth and strength of the Browncoats.

We were REALLY looking forward to going to the Live Signal Podcast and were devastated when we discovered that it was occurring at the same time as the Costume Contest. We had spent so much time and effort making costumes that we just HAD to choose the contest (and considering the results, I'm glad we did). However, it would be REALLY nice if next year we Browncoats can do both.
By the way, the "Still Flying" panel was among my favorite events at DragonCon!

Coordination is a little complicated because we are in the Podcasting track, but need to coordinate with the Whedon Universe track (plus all the non-track Browncoat events). We're thinking for next year we'll try and aim for Friday or earlier on Saturday (5:30, 7:00 or 8:30).
I love your costumes. They are all fantastic, but there is just something extra special about the 4 year old Jayne and 2 year old Mal that make me smile just a little bit more:) _________________ Tech Geek & Host of for Signal Serenity & Firefly podcast

Glad to hear that...I really enjoyed being on that panel and working with all the other great panelists.
You could really feel a lot of great energy in the room at that session.

I love the Signal Live Edition, but i can't help but feel that someone up there is punishing me for not living in America. I wish I could have gone too. _________________ Alliance, n. I'm a little behind in my podcast listening so I'm just getting around to this episode.
I'm listening to the Bards "She Said Her Name Was Saffron" and "Exclamation!" and laughing my ample posterior off. |
