Since the timing worked out weird, I should point out for anyone listening that this bit:

Quote:
News from the 'Verse with Kevin Bachelder
...
Nathan Fillion to appear at Serenity LA

is now an unknown. He vanished from the Serenity LA site a few days ago, and people are waiting on a post from Sean Harry tomorrow morning to see what's going on.

If he's not going to be there, my guess would be scheduling conflicts with his shooting Desperate (Need to be Cancelled) Housewives.

Which would have to be a sudden development, because his schedule for the con had been arranged around his shooting schedule, which was why he wasn't scheduled for the entire weekend.

Another great show, but a couple problems,

the link for "Sending a Wave" does not seem to work, and

no show notes for Expanding the 'Verse?? Because they talk about some cool stuff I'd like to see but am too lazy to just look up on my own.

Aside from my whining though, another great show!

Thanks for sharing that information...

As we've mentioned on the podcast our segments like the news are recorded and edited a few days in advance of our usual Wednesday release so any last minute changes won't be on the podcast.

Below are some of the Expanding the 'Verse links which have also been added to the show notes...

http://www.serenitymush.com/

http://secondlife.com/

Jill wrote the article so once she checks this thread if she has any more specific links I'm sure she'll add them.

Thanks,

Kevin

Serenity MUSH -- The Big Damn Thank You to 'The Signal'

I heard about Pod Cast and have been a fan of The Signal for a long time.

I have also used 'The Signal' as a resource for plot ideas on the game, from the time the game opened. I can not tell you how excited we where when Brooke and I got the call, from another Browncoat friend who also follows 'The Signal' that we got mentioned.

I am still doing cart wheels around my house.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the 'The Signal' crew for mentioning us in this last episode (1Cool of 'The Signal'.

It was very cool to hear we are on your mind.

From all of us at Serenity MUSH.

Thanks for then mention.

Brice & Brooke
Mal & Inara @ Serenity MUSH

PS: If there is anything we can do to help, with the podcast, or Firefly we're all in this together.

I will take the time to help anyone who needs help getting into the game, via

Keep up the good work on the podcast, and god bless, We're still flying... Are you?

I'm confused, Companion Kate said it was "Signal" not "The Signal" yet on your home pageThe Signal/Signal it clearly states "The Signal" everywhere.

I had to read it a few times to catch it myself. The problem wasn't "The Signal" vs "Signal" its was "Signal" vs "Singal".

Just listened this episode this morning before all the sports action started.

I really loved the new episode of Moonshine, that is turning out to be an incredibly well done and engaging story.

Glad you like it. And wasn't Doug Moran's Joss Whedon impression superb!? I'd be curious to know at what point you figured it wasn't Joss.

Being quite stupid, I thought perhaps you had used the viral videos of River with Joss as the interviewer. So I didn't know it until I heard the credits.

I'm not that quick on the uptake lately.

Even though the scene continued beyond the end of the "session" and the interviewer uttered words never uttered in the viral videos? Wow. I'm impressed.

Of course that was the voice of Summer Glau. But we cleaned up the audio from the original viral video, removed all the static hiss, added stereo separation, added background music, and replaced Joss with Doug, because we needed the character to do extra lines, and ... well, we couldn't get Joss!

And though not explicitly stated in Moonshine, followers of the Tam Sessions will know what happens next to the psychologist!
