Hi Everyone,
In the spirit of never say never, we have some truly wonderful news. Guess who's joining us? That would be Mr. Jonathan Woodward who played Tracey on the Firefly episode "The Message" and also appeared in Buffy and Angel! Jonathan gave me a call this morning and is excited to be partying with us on the high-seas. We welcome him and his unique brand of fun. Thanks Jonathan!
But he isn't alone. The illustrious blues musician Sonny Rhodes, who performed the Firefly theme song, is joining us for his very first Firefly fan event. Sonny, who never alters an event, rescheduled a concert so he could be part of our experience, meet the Browncoats and perform for us.
We have verbal commitments and are finalizing the contracts with them this week.
So if you have a friend who was looking for another reason to join us, and wants to help us get back into the black, remember we have a handful of cabins available that we expect to go fast. Please contact us immediately if you are interested in joining our newly improved cruise.
Since we are a bit in the red, we are still accepting donations to help cover the costs of these new guests. As a thank you, everyone who donates or has donated can have their name printed in our Souvenir Book if they wish. Please contact me to verify how your name should appear. Thanks!
Brian

That's terrific news. Jonathan is a riot!!!
I am beyond excited envisioning a concert with Sonny and the Bards and all us Browncoats singing the theme. It gives me shivers.
I can't wait. |

Done! Donated!
Folks... if you haven't kicked in a little extra cashy money yet, I would encourage you to do so. Let's not allow our marvelous shiny cruise organizers to take the personal financial hit. Let's take them out to the black, and tell 'em we ain't coming back (until the ship docks back in port, that is). _________________ Coffee with CrankyBeach - Opinions. Attitude. Caffeine.

Fantastically Super Shiny!!
To hear Sonny Rhodes perform in person is the chocolate-y tasting icing on the mostly-protein cake. I'm a 'blues gal' and can't wait to meet him!

But wait, there's more! Please join me in giving a big welcome to....Nectar Rose! That's right - Lenore, aka Mr. Universe's Love Bot, will join our shindig. Nectar, who also made space in her busy schedule, is looking forward to meeting everyone. Our guest list was a little boy heavy, wasn't it?
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far - it does help. And don't forget to send me a note if you want your name in our full-color Browncoat Cruise Souvenir book.

That is just AWESOME! Nectar Rose was so sweet at Sinfinity!
Great job with the line up. I really really wasn't expecting it to be this good (maybe one or two people) but this is FANTASTIC. And I'm all the more excited. *bg* |

Yep, it's a very interesting lineup! I can't help wishing it didn't show so many similarities to the con I'm attending next week (Ron, Jonathan, and Nectar), but it'll still be great fun to get to know all of them better than one would at a con.
And maybe there will be a Browncoat Cruise 2 and that one'll have Nathan! (Okay, okay I'm dreaming. And it'll celebrate the release of Serenity2.) _________________ My Firefly/Serenity Jewelry: http://www.serenityverse.com/shop

Hey, why not? Let's see....
Serenity 2 is released and becomes the summer blockbuster of the year. Browncoat Cruise 2 sails with Nathan, Alan, Tim Minear, Greg Edmonson, and of course everyone else's top guest picks. Big enough?
This cruise is going to be awesome, though. All of a sudden we went from very few guests to quite a lot! _________________ My Firefly/Serenity Jewelry: http://www.serenityverse.com/shop

I know I am excited about the cruise, too. It's going to be so much fun.
As long as we are dreaming, I'll add that the box office ticket sales of Serenity 2 were so high that Universal has planned to make Serenity 3. |

Hmmm, maybe you should go out of town for a couple more days. See who else we can get. |

Hey, it occurred to me recently... Brian, any chance of having Michelle Dockrey and Tony Fabris (aka Vixy and Tony) as guests, too? Or are they going, anyhow? Because Michelle is the fabulous voice of "Mal's Song" - and if you haven't heard that... whoah, I'll send it to you. Better yet, it's on her MySpace page in a video: http://www.myspace.com/michelledockrey
And partner Tony is a fabulously talented guitarist, as well.
It would be beyond shiny to have those two on the cruise!!! (And iffen you'd like contact info, I can get it to you.)
PS: I'm beyond poor right now, but iffen you'd need more donations to get these two on the cruise, I'd figure out some way to get some of my pennies into the jar... _________________ Big Damn Chefs International Charity Cookbook

Hi Julesong,
At this point, the guest list is locked and we have no money to add more guests. We would love to have more, but we've stretched to create the great lineup we have. Michelle and Tony are great - that's why I contracted with them for the DTI Soundtrack
