I have been checking the TFTV site for months, wondering if I should just give up. Well, I finally stumbled across Show #1 yesterday and can't believe how good the first submissions are. Just when I thought "A Quiet Game" (with its morbidly cheeky River humor) couldn't be topped, I was completely blown away by the surprise ending of "The Meeting Time". Don't know how I'll make it 'til next month's installment now, but thanks for keeping the ol' boat flying! _________________ Volo...I fly/I wish...in Latin. |

Thanks for your patience with us, and glad that you liked the stories. Much credit goes to the authors, as well as several behind-the-scenes people who do the Web site and audio editing.
Now that we've got the first show under our belt, we hope to be pretty regular, coming out the first week of the month. _________________ Tales From The 'Verse Podcast - Stories You Won't Hear on the Cortex.

I have been listening to The Signal for almost a year now, and was pleased to hear about a fan fic podcast. I just listened to it this afternoon on the train ride into work.
Jing-tsai. I really liked it. Your first two offerings were quite good, so applause all around!
I look forward to hearing the next installment! Gonna subscribe to that 'cast right away.

Can definitely help you there. But I need to know how you are listening. Portable MP3 player? On your computer? Through itunes?
Let me know and we will help you out.

All you need is the feed address, which is this:
http://talesfromtheverse.libsyn.com/rss
Copy and paste that into your podcatcher, and you're subscribed. _________________

Ah ha! *slaps hand to forehead* I figured the title to The Meeting Time was generically appropriate and didn't really give it much thought. Then I rewatched the series this week and got to Heart of Gold. Suddenly it all made sense! Nice to see such thought behind every detail. Really looking forward to more shininess next month! _________________ Volo...I fly/I wish...in Latin. |

Just wanted to ask if ALL of the stories podcasted might be in textual form? The first 3 are linked to, why not the last 4? Having the text to read is not only useful for the hearing impaired, but the voices of the BDH's in the story when they are read, much more enjoyable than one voice throughout. So, if you get the stories in textual format, it shouldn't be a tall order. Is why "Old Wounds" is a dah bien-hua when compared...even they aren't the BDH's proper.

Think of Tales from the Verse as an audio book, rather than an audio drama. Much like the Doctor Who books, read by one person. Even Old Wounds made text copies of their scripts available, but not until after their last episode.
At Buffy Between the Lines we're trying to put out print copies too, but the beta-ing takes so long we've only got a text copy of episode 1, even though we've released up to episode 5.
As for the textual versions of Tales from the Verse, our web designer is a pretty busy guy - so it takes awhile for us to get everything up on the site and encoded. But most of the stories are out on the web anyways if you look for them. _________________ Tabz, Slayer of the Podcasts. |
