I liked Wayne Hutchinson's editorial.
While I'm not a big gun fan, I have enjoyed both articles on the Guns of The Verse.
Nick's report on Serenity Complete was a great listen. One of these days I hope to get to a show specific con as opposed to a standard type con. |

The show specific ones especially for cancelled shows like Firefly are getting harder and harder to come by.
Your best bet to see members of the cast is often cons like Dragon*Con where this year they already have lined up Adam, Morena and Jewel and we still have a few months for more to be added.

Kevin,
My uncle had talked about possibly going to Dragon*Con a couple years back. It didn't happen, but I know he still wants to go. It would be impossible for me to go this year, but if I really want to go I would have to save up the money for next week and hope that they have the dates before basketball season starts....
By the way, as you can see, I've caught up on my podcast listening for Firefly/Serenity. |

Given all the positive things I heard long before listening to The Signal and Firefly talk from my comic forums friends, I have no doubt that it rocks.
However, going to it is problematic with a shortage of cash in perpetuity it seems. |

Glad to hear it...of course the great thing with podcasts is that you can listen to them whenever you want...no expiration date!

I had thought about going for a couple of years before I actually did. I have to save up all year to have enough to go myself.
If you or your uncle needs confirmation that it's really worth it to go then give this article a read...

I picked up Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) because this episode reminded me of it! (Have already seen it, forgot all about it.)
I always wondered with Tom Baker's performance how much of it was scripted, and how much was just random mutterings from his rather... elderly (to put it politely) brain. _________________ Cheers,

ok, so, I know this is going back a bit. I am on half term at the moment, and day time TV is abismal. Anyway, I was flicking through the lists, and Randall and Hopkirk flicked up on ITV4.
Its just finished, and I loved it. Thank you |

The original or the remake?
My Sci-Fi Review was of the remake. Unusually, I happen to like the remake more than the original. I find the original very dry, wheras the remake has got more humor in it. _________________

I just googled it. I think you're watching the original 1960s show.
If you like it (or even if you don't) , I suspect you'll like the 2000 remake. They both have their charms, but the 2000 series is the one reviewed in the Signal. I like the 2000 series best. (Reeves and Mortimer and Tom Baker - how can you go wrong?) _________________
