Yo!
Being the nosy, invasive, and extremely curious person that I am, I have looked and looked, and looked some more, and have yet to find any mention of any group of SLC-area BrownCoats lookin' to meet each other, either prior or subsequent to the June 23rd screening of Serenity at the Century 16. I would like to attend one, as would (I'm sure) my husband and sons.
Am I the only one? Or have I missed something, an announcement or subtle plan, concerning the above?
I ask merely for information, and hopefully some organization if necessary.

Yeah! Another utah fan!
I'm not aware of a formal meet and greet. But I assure you there will be lots of meeting and greeting in line before the movie. My "entourage" of about 30 fellow fans and I will be arriving between 5 and 6pm, but if the last showing in Arizona is any indication, people will be arriving much earlier.
I look forward to meeting you there.
However feel free to organize a meet and greet, I'll help.

I don't know about organizing anything. In fact, I'm pretty sure I don't want to organize anything. I was just curious as to whether or not there was anything organized.
I'm also pretty sure me and my entourage of four (I feel so....inadequate!) will show up about an hour early (maybe more, it depends on when El Hubberto gets off work, we all get dinner, and so forth)....
It just seems a shame that every other location seems to have a regular contingent already going, while those of us in Utah seem to react like herded cats. That is, not so much a group, as a group of individuals.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

If you can, I'd love to see any pictures of you and your "Entourage" at the screening.
You know, if I didn't know better, I'd think that the Powers that Be picked Salt Lake City as a screening city just so you wouldn't have to take any more road trips

Hi, all! I had no idea there were some many browncoats in SLC. I totaly missed out on the third screening but would still be willing to come to any meet and greet before the show.

Please do come by, and you should stick around until the movie actually starts, often there will be a few tickets left over from no-shows.

I've been lurking on this board for a loooong time, but after the SLC screening last night I finally joined just to say HEY to all the Utah browncoats! You always think you're the only one, huh?
